题目：如何在国际期刊发表论文Publishing in International Journals
摘要：
I will do a SWOT analysis for Chinese researchers when publishing their research internationally. Drawing on my experience as an academic author and editor, I will highlight the importance of academic publishing as a sustainable and unending enterprise for aspiring researchers. Therefore, we need to take a developmental approach towards academic publishing. While it is important for us to publish our best research in top journals, it is also important for us to develop a long-term research and publishing scheme towards academic independence and claiming expertise in particular areas.
讲者简介
高雪松博士 XUESONG (ANDY) GAOis an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of learner autonomy, sociolinguistics, vocabulary studies, language learning narratives and language teacher education. His works have appeared in journals including Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching Journal, Journal of Language, Identity and Education, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Language Teaching Research, Studies in Higher Education, TESOL Quarterly, and World Englishes. He has also published a research monograph and co-edited a volume with Multilingual Matters.
Gao Xuesong served on the Editorial and Advisory Board for TESOL Quarterly (2011-2013) and as an associate editor for the Asia Pacific Education Researcher (2012-2013) and System (Elsevier, since March, 2013). He is president of Hong Kong Association for Applied Linguistics.
