主讲人介绍
黄福涛教授，获文学士、教育学硕士和教育学博士学位，1999年作为日本学术振兴会外国人特别研究员赴日本从事博士后研究，历任厦门大学高等教育科学研究所讲师和副教授，2001年担任日本广岛大学大学教育研究中心副教授。现任该中心终身教授、博士生导师、高等教育开发专业主任。主要研究领域包括∶外国高等教育史、高等教育国际化、大学课程设置与开发、高等教育质量保证与评估、中日高等教育比较研究等。主要代表作包括∶专著《欧洲高等教育近代化》(1998年)、主编国内第一本《外国高等教育史》（2003年）、主编《1990年以降の中国高等教育の改革と課題》(2005)、主编Transnational Higher Education in Asia and Pacific (2006)。
报告内容简介：
This presentation is mainly concerned with a comparative study in the development of university curriculum and teaching activities undertaken by faculty members in China, Japan and the US. Based on major findings from the international survey which was carried out in China, Japan, and the US in 2007 with similar questionnaire respectively, firstly, the paper makes an analysis of faculty’s views on influences of actors on approving new academic programs at their institutions and how significantly they were involved with activities concerning development of their curriculum or programs. Secondly, the paper deals with their views on their teaching activities. For example, to what extent they emphasized practically-oriented knowledge and skills, integrated international perspectives or orientation, or incorporated discussions of values and ethics into their lectures. Finally, the paper discusses influences of actors on teaching activities by faculty members in the three countries and who conducted regular evaluation on their teaching activities.
